Welcome to the NOAA Student Scholarship Training Record (SSTR) Online System

The SSTR information is to be submitted by Wednesday at 12:00 PM E.S.T., June 3, 2026, and every other Wednesday thereafter. Scholars, even though you have not participated in activities related to your research project for Thursday and Friday, please project the number of hours and planned activities you are expected to work for that week.

Mentors are required to verify the SSTR by close of business on Wednesday afternoon (bi-weekly).

Mentors will receive an email from StudentScholarshipPrograms@noaa.gov with a link to the online Mentor Verification Form.

June 3, 2026 for period May 24 - June 6, 2026

June 16, 2026 for period June 7 - June 20, 2026

July 1, 2026 for period June 21 - July 4, 2026

July 15, 2026 for period July 5 - July 18, 2026

July 24, 2026 for period July 19 - August 1, 2026

August 12, 2026 for period August 2 - August 15, 2026

August 26, 2026 for period August 16 - August 29, 2026

The following Monday the Training Period will be updated and the previous period will be saved.
