Welcome to the NOAA Student Scholarship Training Record (SSTR) Online System

The SSTR information is to be submitted by Thursday at 12:00 PM E.S.T., May 29, 2025, and every other Thursday thereafter. Scholars, even though you have not participated in activities related to your research project on Friday, May 30, 2025, please project the number of hours and planned activities for that day.

Mentors are required to verify the SSTR by close of business on Thursday afternoon (bi-weekly).

Mentors will receive an email from StudentScholarshipPrograms@noaa.gov with a link to the online Mentor Verification Form.

June 12, 2025 for period June 1 – 14, 2025

June 26, 2025 for period June 15 – 28, 2025

July 10, 2025 for period June 29 - July 12, 2025

July 24, 2025 for period July 13 – 26, 2025

August 7, 2025 for period July 27 – August 9, 2025

August 21, 2025 for period August 10 – 23, 2025

The following Monday the Training Period will be updated and the previous period will be saved.
